Jet Carrying Pete Hegseth Required to Land in UK Due to Fracture in Windshield

A plane ferrying Pete Hegseth was required to make an emergency landing in the Britain on Wednesday due to a fissure was found in the aircraft's cockpit window, according to an official statement which verified that Hegseth was safe.

"The plane touched down in accordance with standard protocol and all individuals on the flight, such as Defense Secretary Hegseth, is safe," a press officer commented in a social media post.

He was traveling back from a short visit to the city of Brussels at the time.

This incident does not mark the first time that a US military aircraft carrying a top government figure has experienced technical problems.

In a previous incident this year, a United States Air Force aircraft ferrying Marco Rubio to Munich was forced to turn back to Washington after experiencing a mechanical problem.
